Color history and the use of medications must be discussed when consulting with your stylist. If you are currently under the care of an MD, it is (your) responsibility to research if color services are compatible with any prescription medication or cancer treatment which you are currently being treated with or have used prior to your color appointment.
BELOW is a list of items to address with your colorist prior to your appointment - as these items may cause negative chemical reactions to the hair when mixed with salon chemicals services.
IT IS OUR PRIORITY TO CONDUCT THOROUGH CONSULTATIONS FOR ALL SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE SALON, HOWEVER IT IS EACH CLIENT'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO BE UPFRONT AND HONEST ABOUT THEIR HAIR HISTORY AND TO RESEARCH THE ITEMS LISTED ABOVE*
ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE HAIR AS A RESULT OF UNDIVULGED INFORMATION DURING THE CONSULTATIONIS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SALON OR STYLIST. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 24 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago even though our booking system sends a notification 24 hours prior your appointment.
“NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the service amount.
The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our Calypso Aveda Salon team members' schedules filled, thus better serving everyone.

Calypso Aveda Salon policies are presented and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent service for our established and future clientele.
The price of your service may vary from the listed price; based on the service(s) you receive, as well as the length and texture of your hair.
Payment for salon services is expected to be paid at the time of service.
THE EMPLOYEES DELIGHT THEMSELVES ON PROVIDING YOU WITH EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER CARE.
We do not issue refunds on Salon services. However, should you have any questions or concerns about the service you have received in the salon, please notify the salon within two days of your service. If you are not satisfied with the work performed, we require that you return to the salon WITHIN NEXT 7 DAYS after service received so that your hair can be visually inspected. At that time, we will make every effort to make any adjustments to your satisfaction by rescheduling you with the stylist, adjustments are made available to you at no cost only with in the week of the initial service.
